Pookoo began with a simple moment during a Vancouver winter.
As an active parent, I was constantly moving between indoors and outdoors with my child—from the warmth of home to the stroller, from the car seat to a quick walk outside. Each transition seemed to require yet another clothing change.
From my first child, I knew a good romper was essential: one-piece, easy to zip, no-fuss (no over-the-head struggles!). But the rompers I found were either too thin to keep my child warm or made with synthetic materials that didn’t feel right against their skin.
With my second child, I wanted something better—a romper that could keep my little one comfortable through all these everyday moments.
A friend remarked, “If you can’t find what you’re looking for, create it.” That simple idea became Pookoo: children’s clothing that’s comfortable for kids, practical for parents, and responsible for the world they’ll grow up in.
Our Philosophy
We believe good design starts with the way children play, move, and grow every day. We also believe the materials surrounding them should be safe, natural, and gentle.
That’s why every Pookoo garment is soft, durable, and designed with care. When clothes are beautiful, comfortable, and well-made, children naturally want to wear them again and again. Clothes that are loved and worn longer are more sustainable and a better investment for families.
Clothing that combines comfort, play, and lasting love—that’s Pookoo.
